Is on-campus housing guaranteed?
PSGI: Yes.
IGSP: No. Students may have to find off-campus housing with the help of Penn’s housing office.
Will students be in classes with current Penn students?
Yes. In both programs students enroll in typical Penn undergraduate courses.
Do students have access to campus resources?
Yes. Students have access to the libraries, gyms, and other facilities. Students are also able to join clubs and
participate in other university activities.

What courses are available to IGSP students?

https://catalog.upenn.edu/undergraduate/. IGSP students have access to all undergraduate classes at Penn.
Can students take courses outside of Arts & Sciences (Engineering, Wharton)?
Yes. Students in both programs must take a minimum of 50% of their courses in the School of Arts & Sciences
(SAS). PSGI students may take one non-SAS course. IGSP students may take up to two non-SAS courses.
If a course has pre-requisites, can the student submit course credits from another university to meet the
requirements?
Yes. Advisors will work with students on an individual basis to help them through this process, if necessary.
Can students with an undergraduate degree enroll in IGSP/PSGI?
IGSP is designed for current undergraduates who wish to apply Penn credits toward their degree. During the
summer, students with an undergraduate degree may enroll in the Penn Summer Global Institute if they are
recent graduates.
