1. What is The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion?
· The Pavilion is an outdoor amphitheater that hosts an array of
performing arts and contemporary entertainment. It is also known as
The Center for the Performing Arts at The Woodlands, a nonprofit 501
(c)(3) organization.
2. Where is The Pavilion?
· The Pavilion is located at 2005 Lake Robbins Drive The Woodlands,
Texas 77380. For directions and maps go to
www.woodlandscenter.org/directions.html.
3. How do I purchase tickets? How much do they cost?
· Ticketmaster is the official ticketing source for The Pavilion. Tickets for
any event at The Pavilion can be purchased through
www.ticketmaster.com, by calling 800-745-3000 or by visiting any
Ticketmaster outlet.
· Tickets also may be purchased in person at The Pavilion Box Office. The
Box Office is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and
on event days from 10 a.m. (Sundays at noon*) through intermission.
The Box Office does not sell tickets over the phone. *In the event that a
concert is on a Sunday and an all-day festival, the Box Office opens at
10 a.m.
· Ticket costs vary with the event. When purchasing tickets at The
Pavilion Box Office or Ticketmaster service charges will apply. More
information on ticket costs can be found at

4. Can I refund my ticket?
· There are no refunds or exchanges with the exception of a cancelled
or rescheduled event.
5. Do I have to buy a ticket for my child?
· For most contemporary and performing arts events, children age 5 and
under are admitted free to the lawn without a ticket when
accompanied by a ticketed adult.
· Children 3 years of age and older must occupy a seat when in the
reserved seating area and must have a ticket.
· At special children's shows, children 2 years of age and over must
occupy a seat when in the reserved seating area and must have a
ticket. At these same types of events, children 2 years of age and older
must have a ticket for the lawn.
6. Is there anyway to upgrade your ticket from the lawn to reserve seating?
· The Pavilion does not normally upgrade tickets. If you bought a lawn
ticket and want a reserved ticket you need to purchase a new ticket.
We cannot refund the other ticket. On the rare occasion that we do
offer upgrades they will be available at the lawn chair stands or at the
back window of the venue box office. We do not announce ahead of
time if we do upgrades.
7. I purchase tickets on my credit card, but I am not attending. Can
someone else pick up my tickets without my credit card?
· If your tickets are paperless your guest will not be able to pick them up.
You can contact Ticketmaster and ask that your tickets be changed to
a different delivery method.
· If your tickets are will call you will need to have your guests name
added to the account as an alternate pick up name. Your guest will
need their photo ID and the confirmation number. They will not need
the credit card.
· Guests cannot pick up tickets at will call with only the credit card. They
must have a picture ID that matches the name on the account. The
exception for this would be if the tickets are paperless and the guests
are utilizing the tickets as paperless in that case they do not need to
visit the Box Office they can go directly to the gates with the credit
card.
8. I lost my credit card that I purchase my tickets with. What do I do to get
my tickets?
· If your tickets are at Will Call and not paperless, you will need to bring
your confirmation number and photo ID to Will Call to pick up the
tickets.
· If your tickets are paperless you will need to come to the Box Office on
the night of the event with your confirmation number and photo ID
and ask that your paperless tickets be printed. Do not go directly to the
gate.
9. I purchased tickets with the paperless option. What do I need to get into
the venue?
· You need the credit card used to purchase the ticket to be able to
enter the venue.
10. I purchased a Groupon for one of your concerts. How do I get my tickets?
· If you purchase a reserved seat ticket from Groupon for a concert,
Groupon will send you a confirmation via email on how to redeem
your reserved seat tickets.
· If you purchased a lawn ticket from Groupon for a concert, the G-Pass
lawn tickets will need to be printed out and guests can go directly to
the gate with the voucher. The Pavilion will not accept a G-Pass lawn
ticket on a cellphone.
· You must print out a voucher for each ticket purchased.
11. I purchased a Groupon for one of your concerts and I lost it. What do I do?
· The Pavilion can not replace a Groupon Voucher and you will not
have access to the concert.
· Most Vouchers can be replaced from Groupon but once the Groupon
has been redeemed at the Box Office the tickets cant be replaced.
12. I have a Groupon Voucher, but it was purchased under someone elses
name, but with my credit card. Can I still get access into the venue?
· If someone other than the name on the voucher wishes to pick up the
tickets then they must contact Groupon and have a new Groupon
sent to them with the updated name.
13. How can I get accessible seating tickets?
· The Pavilion maintains accessible seating in various sections of the
seating area and at various prices for guests with mobility impairments.
· Seating near the stage is available for guests with visual or hearing
impairments. These tickets are available for purchase through
Ticketmaster and The Pavilion Box Office.
14. How can I get backstage passes or meet and greets?
· The Pavilion doesnt sell backstage passes or meet and greets. Most
backstage passes and meet and greets are sold through the tour
(artist).
· The Box Office does not sell packages. Those can be normally
purchased on the tours website, fan club or a package on
ticketmaster.com.
15. How do I get group tickets? Are there any discounts for Group Sales,
Seniors, Veterans, High School, etc.?
· Most contemporary concerts do NOT offer group tickets. To check on
a specific concert and group ticket availability, contact Live Nation at
800-745-3000 and ask for the group sales department. Please note that
the ticket price for these concerts generally is NOT discounted for
groups.
· The Pavilion Box Office handles group sales for Performing Arts events
only. For selected Performing Arts events, a special discount ticketing
program is offered to groups of 20 or more. For more information about
group sales for Performing Arts events at The Pavilion, call 281-364-3024.
16. Where do I park? Is there VIP parking available?
· The Pavilion offers pre-paid, preferred parking and free parking.
· Pre-paid, preferred parking is available in the Town Center Garage. To
purchase tickets for the parking garage, call Ticketmaster at 800-745-
3000 or visit any Ticketmaster outlet or The Pavilion Box Office. This also
is considered the VIP parking area.
· Free guest parking is located in lighted and patrolled lots convenient
to The Pavilion. For most events, lots open 90 minutes prior to the
performance.
· The Pavilion does not recommend anyone to park at The Woodlands
Mall parking lot due to the risk of being towed.
17. Is there accessible/handicap parking available?
· Accessible/handicap parking is available with proper state
identification. There are a limited number of parking spaces available
on a first-come, first-served basis in the Gold Lot adjacent to the VIP
entrance. Access is via Six Pines Drive.
· A driveway for passenger drop-off and pick-up is available in front of
the North Plaza. Access is via Lake Robbins Drive.
18. How early can I arrive before the performance?
· For most events, gates open 60-90 minutes prior to the performance
time.
19. How will I find my seat?
· All rows are labeled A through Z excluding letters I, O and U, and
continue with AA through HH in sections 101-103. Sections 101-103 rows
begin with A and end with HH. Sections 104-111 rows begin with A and
end with W.
· Seat numbers begin with 1 and count up.
· Lawn seating is general admission and will not have a row or seat
number.
· Pavilion staff members will be assisting with seat locations.
20. Can I re-enter The Pavilion once left?
· The Pavilion does not allow re-entry once left in order to prevent
consumption of alcoholic beverages and illegal substances.
21. Where is the lost and found?
· If you lose an item at The Pavilion ask a Pavilion staff member for
assistance or call our Administration Office during regular business
hours at 281-363-3300, ext. 0. All items not claimed within 30 days will
be donated to charity.
22. Can I bring my own food and drinks?
· Food is permitted at Performing Arts events. Performing arts events
include Houston Symphony, Houston Ballet and Texas Music Festival
Orchestra concerts.
· At contemporary events, guests are allowed to bring a clear, gallon-
sized zip top bag with food into the venue.
· Drinks are NOT allowed inside the venue at any time.
23. Can I bring in a blanket?
· Blankets have been used by guests to throw other guests into the air
causing serious injury. We have chosen not to permit blankets at
certain shows that have a history of this behavior. You may, however,
bring something the size of a regular bath towel to sit on. Guests can
visit The Pavilions website under the individual event pages to check if
blankets are not permitted at that concert (the website will only list
items that are not permitted).
24. Can I bring my own lawn chair?
· No, but you may rent a specially-designed chair from The Pavilion for
$6 at contemporary events. These lawn chairs are offered for free at all
performing arts events.
25. Can I bring my camera and/or camcorder?
· Professional detachable lens cameras are not permitted in the venue.
However, there are times when the artist will allow guests to bring small,
non-professional cameras (which are typically cameras without
detachable lenses) to the concert. Please check the day of the show
on The Pavilions website under the individual event pages to check if
cameras are not permitted at that concert (the website will only list
items that are not permitted). Guests also can check The Pavilions
social media sites or call 281-364-3010. Camera policies are dictated
by the artists.
26. Can I bring my laptop or tablet?
· Laptops are not permitted in the facility because they are a distraction
to other guests and the artist. Tablets, such as iPads and Kindles, are
not permitted in the facility because they are a distraction to other
guests and the artist.
27. Can I bring in my pet/animal(s)?
· Animals can be unpredictable and may cause harm to other guests or
staff. For this reason, we ask that you do not bring animals (of any
nature) to The Pavilion. The only exceptions are "working animals, such
as seeing-eye dogs.
28. Can I bring bug spray?
· Aerosol cans are not permitted for fire safety reasons. The contents of
these cans are under pressure and contain flammable substances. You
may bring these items in the pump spray form.
29. Can I bring balloons, posters, signs, etc.?
· No, balloons are not permitted in the venue. Posters and signs are
permitted, but it can not be bigger than 8.5X11.
30. Will there be First Aid?
· Yes, trained medical professionals are on duty at all Pavilion events. If
medical attention is needed, ask any Pavilion staff member for
assistance.
31. Where are the restrooms located?
· The Pavilion has restrooms located in all plazas for your convenience.
32. Are there ATMs at The Pavilion?
· Yes, The Pavilion has ATMs located in the North and South Plazas.
33. Am I allowed to smoke?
· Smoking is NOT allowed in reserved seating, but you may smoke on The
Pavilion lawn or plazas.
34. What if it rains?
· All events go on whether there is rain or shine.
35. Can I bring an umbrella if it is raining?
· Umbrellas can cause sight problems for guests sitting behind you. Also,
certain umbrellas have been used to cause injury to other guests. The
decision on whether or not to allow umbrellas is based on the past
history, attendance for the show, and the forecasted weather. Check
our website, social media sites or call 281-363-3300 to see if umbrellas
are permitted for a particular concert. You may bring a rain poncho or
purchase a poncho at our merchandise tent.
36. What things are there to do around The Pavilion?
· Near The Pavilion is The Woodlands Town Center, a 1,000-acre
destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment. It includes The
Woodlands Mall, a shopping center with more than 1.3 million square
feet of indoor and outdoor venues and Market Street, a Main-Street
styled shopping and special event venue.
37. Are there hotel accommodations near The Pavilion?
· Yes, there are several hotels near or in walking distance of the venue.
