Dhigali House Reef

Dhigali Maldives is surrounded by a beautiful house reef

with good coral life and a lot of different fish species can

be found. Raa Atoll is famous for its‘ great dive sites and

the reefs are generally in very good condition. Divers as

well as snorkelers can experience great underwater

fauna.

The dive centre is located in the middle of the northern

side of the island close to the lagoon. In front of the dive

centre there is a jetty from where the diving and

snorkeling boat trips start. Diving is also possible guided

or unguided from the house reef.

The reef starts in about 3-4 meters from the beach,

quickly dropping to a depth of around 20 - 25 meters.

Divers can discover a big range of different hard corals

like table corals, brain corals, and many more.

Divers and snorkelers will encounter larege schools of

fusiliers, big groupers are circling around the reef and

many other fishes like tuna, napoleons, eagle rays, black

tip reef sharks and many more can be seen.

A spectacular dive can be done on the south western

side of the house reef - due to the distance this dive will

only be possible to be reached by diving boat and will be

scheduled on regular basis. This part of the reef is

overwhelming, amazing coral life and lots of different

fishes. Small caves can be found here, nicely covered by

corals, lion fish, eagle rays, turtles, and many lobsters

can be seen. During the season encounters with manta

rays are possible, as well as nurse sharks and lemon

sharks.

For snorkelers the south western side of the house reef

is very good, too. Big schools of banner fish, bat fish and

all other marine life can be found here, as well as baby

sharks and eagle rays.

The house reef of Dhilgali is definitely a highlight for

everybody loving the marine life.

East Bar – 10:00 – 24:00

• Aptly named East, due to its location on the island, this

bar has a variety of beverage to choose from.

• The bar conveniently located in front of the main pool

as well as the main beach will service guests that utilize

these areas.

• Close to East bar, attached to the beach is a jetty that

can be used as a venue for intimate weddings, group

dinners.

• Comprises of excellent lounge areas to unwind.

• Can easily accommodate large groups.

• Has great background music with live music at least

three times a week.

Haali Bar – open from 10:00 till 24:00

• “the place to be when the sun sets”

• We intend to promote cocktails and sparkling drinks at this hippy bar,

however all other beverage is available.

• With the latest DEEP HOUSE beats resonating in the background Haali

makes the ideal setting for chill out space.

• Guests dining at the restaurant next door will be able to stop over for

an aperitif before going to lunch or dinner.

• The deck upstairs of Haali can be hired out for private functions. Can

accommodate up to 10 guests’ maximum.

Faru – (Grill Restaurant) – Open for lunch 12:30 till 15:00 and 19:00 – 23:00

• The continental menu consists of a selection of meats and

seafood, where the guests can select their cut, their choice of

marinade and the their favourite cooking style.

• An exclusive choice of beverage items has been chosen for this

restaurant to complement the meals served.

• Having an exposed kitchen, the guests get to see the action that

is normally behind the scenes

• Being close to the waters’ edge, private dining can be booked for

up to 8 guests maximum.

• A children’s menu is available.

• Live music will be played at least once a week.

• Reservations will be necessary.

Battuta – (Signature Restaurant) – Open from 19:00 – 23:00

• Located in the jungle of the island, this restaurant is based on the

travels of Ibn Battuta.

• Getting to the restaurant is a journey itself as it has been designed

for guests to go on a discovery

• Serving dishes that the traveler would have experienced in his

journey across Asia.

• Live action cooking with an abundance of exotic flavors is what the

guest will experience.

The service is classical with attention to the details.

• With only a dispense bar available, the preferred bar for an aperitif

or an after dinner drink will be East Bar.

• Music specifically chosen for this restaurant to create the perfect

ambiance and live music will be offered once a week.

• Private dinners for honeymooners and anniversaries can be

arranged, definitely reservations required.

The Deli - 10:00 till 19:00

• Serving freshly made salads, sandwiches, smoothies, juices, coffee and

Maldivian snacks.

• This has s a grab and go concept, catering for those that are waiting

for transfers or for those looking a quick snack in the middle of day.

Children’s menu available.

• Service is similar to that of a Starbucks, where you place your order at

the counter and your food and drink gets brought to you.

• Situated in more relaxed area on the resort, guests will feel unhurried

and are welcome to relax there.

• There is no alcohol available at this outlet.
