1. If you decide to change your concentration your course requirements will also change, please check the website
for course requirements.
2. A Plan of Study must be filed after the completion of 12 hours of graduate coursework. Forms are available at
wichita.edu/MBA
3. A grade of "C" or better is required in all courses, and an overall GPA of 3.0 must be maintained in order to graduate.
4. Review the Prerequisite Course to take, unless marked waived. These can be taken at any university or community
college at the undergraduate level.
5. Review the Required Training to complete for graduate school in your first year in the program.
6. Review the Required MBA Core Courses. These are 3 credit hour graduate classes.
7. Online students should only select an online concentration option.
8. Elective coursework must be pre-approved. Cooperative Education credit may not be used toward degree
requirements.
9. If you are planning to use courses towards the hours required to sit for the CPA exam you should avoid taking cross -
listed courses such as ECON 709, consult the Kansas Board of Accounting.
10. We reserve the right to administratively withdraw students from courses if they have not met the required prerequisites.
Certain preparatory courses are required prior to enrollment in required courses.
11. The MBA degree must be completed within ten years from the first semester of enrollment.
12. If courses needed for your degree are not oered in the semester/year you need them, and waiting to take them will
prevent a timely graduation, please contact grad.business@wichita.edu to find appropriate substitute courses to take.
13. An Application for Degree should be completed within the first 20 days (or the 1st 3 weeks) of the semester that you
plan to graduate. The application can be submitted up to 2 semesters prior to your graduation, however. The form can
be found at Wichita.edu/Commencement.
14. To participate in the graduation ceremony, students will need to RSVP online at Wichita.edu/Commencement . This
form should be completed by mid-November for the December ceremony and mid-April for the May ceremony. There is
not a summer graduation ceremony, but graduates can choose to walk the semester before or after.
