NOTE:
1. The inspection machine for checked baggage will damage undeveloped films left
inside the camera.
2. To avoid damage to undeveloped films, it is recommended to take the film in your
carry-on baggage and request the inspecting officer to manually check the film.
3. Check with your airline or travel agency about restrictions on the use of these and
other items during your flight.
Electronic Cigarettes and Vaping Devices
1. These devices are allowed to travel in your carry-on baggage. Passengers traveling
with this device must present them at the counter at the time of checking in for
their flight in case of this item being conducted and controlled by the airline.
2. With the aim of preserving the safety, regularity and efficiency of flights, the
administration (Director and / or Manager of Airports), they must announce and
publish in posters safety information and on the screens available in the passenger
presentation area and in the points of inspection of transit and of origin (exit), of
the different terminals to the civil aviation service, the following information:
"Passengers who are about to board an aircraft, when they appear at
checkpoint they must present and remove from their carry-on luggage: electronic
gadgets for example: laptops, VCRs, cameras, cell phones, blow dryers and/or
personal data assistant (PDA); to be inspected by service personnel at
checkpoint.”
3. Aircraft operators operating in the Dominican Republic must notify their
passengers or passengers at the time of purchase of the air ticket, and in writing,
by posting the following information on the back of the air ticket:
"It is the responsibility of the passenger who is the beneficiary of this
ticket when they arrive at checkpoint or transit inspection, to remove from their
carry-on luggage any electronic devices such as laptops, VCRs, cameras, cell
phones, dry blowers and/or Personal Data Assistant (PDA); to be inspected by
service personnel at checkpoint.”
