Welcome New Bruin Transfers! This page provides important dates and deadlines necessary to set yourself
up for success and make the mostof your time at UCLA. Follow these action items below to ensure you are
on track and be sure to review the resources available.
STEP 1: Accept admission, apply for honors and housing [April-May]
ACTION ITEM DEADLINE
Activate your UCLA Logon ID and password [required for all other steps]
You will need your UCLA ID Number
(as displayed on your admit letter) immediately
View your Provisional Award Letter from the Financial Aid Office immediately
View your Admission Contract immediately
Review your immunization requirements before you accept your offer of admission
Accept (or decline) your offer of admission June 1, 2019
Apply for the College Honors program June 1, 2019
Apply for housing June 1, 2019
Send us official transcripts through Fall 2018 June 1, 2019

STEP 2: Plan for New Student Orientation, supply needed information [June-July]

Review I-20 and student visa process [international students only,

Complete your Pre-Orientation Planner Survey [required to sign up

Apply for your BruinCard
two weeks before you attend Orientation

Send us AP and IB test scores (if any)

Send us IGETC or UC Reciprocity [if taken/required] September 1, 2019
Pay for parking September 4-6, 2019
Take the English as a Second Language Placement Exam [if required] September, 2019

Pay tuition and other fees September 20, 2019
True Bruin Welcome Week September 19-26, 2019
Fall quarter classes begin September 26, 2019
Take the Transfer Student Survey [available July 1] September 30, 2019
Complete the online Mandatory Health Requirement October 1, 2019
Submit your immunization history through the Ashe Secure Portal October 1, 2019
