The information and recommendations set forth in this Product Data Sheet are based upon test conducted by Master Paints and
Chemical Corp. Since application variables are a major factor in product performance, this information should serve only as a

Quarts and 1 gallon
1. Crack (non structural) less than 1/32”: Apply Masterflex® Crack Filler over the crack with two inches at each side of the
Masterflex® Fiber Glass Patching Weave.
2. Cracks (non structural) larger than 1/32”: It is recommended that it be pouted out to ¼”, wide and ¼” deep. Clean crack with water.
Let it dry and prime with Masterflex® Roof Primer, and let it dry again. Apply Masterflex® Crack Filler. Put the Masterflex®
Fiber Glass Patching Weave and apply another coat of Masterflex® Filler on top.
3. For joints: Fill joint with backing rod and cover with Masterflex® Crack Filler. Put the glass fiber mesh and apply a second coat in
the mesh.
Note: For optimum appearance, dip spatula into water within 10 minutes of application.
Recommended Film Thickness: 1/32” under standard conditions
Coverage (average): 110 sq. ft. gallon, depending on the depth of the cracks
Method: Knife grade
Thinning: Not recommended.
Dry time: If latex paint will be used wait, 24 hour after Masterflex® Crack Filler application.
If alkyd paint will be used, wait 48 hours after Masterflex® Crack Filler application.
Knife grade.
Harmful if swallowed. May cause eye, nose and throat irritation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes and avoid breathing of vapors and spray
mist. Use only with adequate ventilation. When applying spray, use respiratory protection (NIOSH/MSHA TC23C or equivalent), eye
protection and protective clothing. Storage the air tight sealed product in a dry and well ventilated environment. KEEP OUT OF REACH
In case of skin contact, remove product from skin with soap and water. When eye contact with products occurs, rinse affected area with large
amounts of water at least 15 minutes and get immediate medical attention. If swallowed, medical attention is needed immediately. Close
container after each use. For proper disposal of excess material, please contact your local city waste management agency. Before use, ask and
read the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) of the product.
Crack reparation: make sure that all cracks and joints are sealed. Apply Masterflex® Crack Filler with a spatula and then apply the
Masterflex® Fiber Glass Patching Weave over cracks, joints, and around all objects anchored to the roof, covering at least two more inches at
each side of crack. Let dry for 24 hours and apply the selected roof sealer from Master.
A. For small areas, apply Masterflex® Crack Filler with a brush or spatula.
B. While the product is humid, put the Masterflex® Fiber Glass Patching Weave on top.
C. While it is still humid, apply another coat of Masterflex® Crack Filler over the Master Fiber Glass Patching Weave.
WARNING! If you scrape, sand, or remove old paint, you may release lead dust or fumes. LEAD IS TOXIC. EXPOSURE TO LEAD
DUST OR FUMES CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN. PREGNANT
WOMEN SHOULD ALSO AVOID EXPOSURE. Wear a properly fitted NIOSH approved respirator and prevent skin contact to control
lead exposure. Clean up carefully with a HEPA vacuum and a wet mop. Before you start, find out how to protect yourself and your family by
