ABOUT THIS SHOW:
The classic animated television special A Charlie Brown Christmas comes to life in this faithful stage adaptation in which
Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang discover the true meaning of Christmas. In Charlie Brown
Christmas, the classic Christmas animated TV special is reimagined in a 35-minute live mini-musical. This production will
maintain the nostalgic, childlike feeling of the original cartoon but represent the playground of today in its charm and
diversity. CCP is a community theater and while experience is not required, we are seeking a cast of comedic actors ages
16 and up, singer/movers and musicians with engaging personalities and if possible, fun special skills. Special skills
featured in this show could include playing instruments, singing, tumbling, dance, circus type talents and unique silly or
weird skills. We are excited to build a showcase for the individual talents of our cast. Though we are seeking strong
dynamic singers for some roles, this is not a traditional book musical.
